One liquid stevia flavor is more suitable for baking than the other

Greensweet stevia sells around 18 different flavors in a drop shape. These are made with pure extracts, and therefore each has their own specific taste notes but also their strength in taste. For example, the fruit flavors have much less sweet power than caramel, or vanilla and chocolate. Most fruit flavors are therefore slightly less suitable for baking. That means: the fruit flavors are not very well developed. Baking is more than sufficiently sweetened. Flavors that are ideal for baking are:

- Chocolate
- caramel
- vanilla
- coconut
- peach
- mango
- blueberry
- peanut

These do well display the relevant flavors in a baking. The other flavors are also excellent for baking, but are somewhat flatter in taste.

If someone asks me how the relationships are, I always say to "taste". What do I mean by this? Well, to begin with, everyone's sweet taste needs are different. To discover your own dosage it is best to sweeten everything by taste. Once you know how far you like sweet, you can implement it in everything from now on. You learn about the sweet power of your products. Start with a few drops first and see how you like the taste. Then you can always add drops if you want it sweeter.

Greensweet Erythritol

One of the best-selling products from Greensweet-stevia!

Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol made from corn.

Erythritol is not stevia, let me first clarify that. This also gives a different taste and grain. In terms of taste and texture, it is most common with regular sugar and is therefore loved by children. Erythritol, however, is about 75% less sweet compared to regular sugar , so you need a little more to get the right taste.
A tablespoon of erythritol replaces a quarter tablespoon of regular sugar and can easily be used as sugar in the kitchen for cooking and baking.

It contains no calories and no * net carbohydrates, which means that carbohydrates are indicated but these are not converted into energy in the body and it therefore contains no calories. It leaves our body unused through the urinary tract.

Greensweet Brown

Greensweet Brown bakes like normal brown sugar and has a fine structure. Greensweet Brown has 95% fewer calories than normal sugar and is therefore much healthier to use in your daily diet and drinks.

The brown sugar from Greensweet stevia is made from erythritol, a hint of pure steviol glycosides and molasses. Molasses is a type of sugar. It is made from the sugar beet / cane sauce after the crystallized sugar is removed. A viscous liquid remains. The amount of molasses in the Brown of greensweet is 5 grams per 100 grams. These are pure free sugars. The remainder consists of polyols (93.5%) that are not absorbed into the body. In other words, the Brown is not 100% sugar-free . But it does not contain a lot of free sugars, so it is still a much better alternative to regular brown caster sugars.

People with diabetes can also use this brown sugar substitute, with caution, because there are free sugars present, which may have some influence on blood sugar levels. It is 100% vegan.

Greensweet Syrup Gold

Greensweet Syrup Gold is ideal in the kitchen as a substitute for honey and / or syrup. This delicious syrup is made from a vegetable fiber (isomalto oligosaccharide) which means that the syrup contains far fewer calories and still tastes great. The fibers are vegetable components and officially fall under the carbohydrates. Should you therefore avoid fiber if you are on a low-carbohydrate diet? Absolutely not! These fibers are incredibly good for your body.

They are processed differently by your body than normal carbohydrates. Normal carbohydrates are absorbed by your body, digested and end up in your blood like glucose. These fibers, on the other hand, are not converted as glucose, but are preserved. They are therefore not (or partially) digested.

The Syrup is unfortunately not gluten-free . Barley malt extract is produced by allowing barley or wheat grains to germinate and dry. Part of the gluten from the grain is broken down during this process. Due to incomplete degradation, the barley malt extract can still contain gluten.

The Greensweet Syrup Gold contains no less than 70 g (per 100 g) dietary fiber, a great choice .. die Gold.

Facts:

  • Healthier alternative to honey and (agave) syrup.
  • Delicious over pancakes, desserts, ice cream and home-made bars.
