WHAT DO YOU MAKE?

To give you some inspiration immediately, I will give you two delicious Easter recipes here! These delicious Easter rolls are super fast. They are suitable for vegans and 100% non-GM. The yellow glaze is obtained by mixing the powdered sugar with some saffron water. Put about 5/6 saffron threads in three tablespoons of water to soak. Add some water to the icing sugar later to obtain a nice glaze. You can also use a tablespoon of turmeric, which gives a somewhat darker yellow color. And this can also give some difference in taste.

You need this:

  • 400 grams of brown teff flour, or almond flour
  • 10 grams (tartar) baking powder
  • two large bananas, nicely practiced
  • three big tablespoons Icing icing sugar + 10 drops raspberry stevia drops
  • hot water

For the glaze:

  • 150 grams Icing icing sugar
  • saffron water (see explanation above) or a tablespoon of turmeric
  • water

This is how you make it:

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees, cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Stir all the ingredients for the buns into a bowl firmly, add a little water until the mass is smooth but still good to knead. Roll out rolls from the dough, and place them on the baking sheet. Fry the rolls in the middle of the oven until done in about 30-35 minutes, keep checking. Allow to cool.

Make a strong glaze of the saffron water, add very small amounts of water until the glaze has reached the desired thickness. Spread on the buns and allow to dry.
