What you need: (as I made it exactly): (4 people, 6 points per person)
1 kilo ham steaks
2 large onions (finely chopped)
4 cloves garlic (crushed and minced very small)
1 red pepper (deseeded and finely chopped)
1 tablespoon sambal badjak
1 tablespoon sambal oelek
1 tablespoon ginger syrup
1.5 tbsp red wine vinegar
30 ml soy sauce
30 ml sweet soy sauce
1 teaspoon of clove powder
1 or 2 star anise (just leave whole)
1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice powder
1.5 teaspoon ground coriander (ketumbar)
1 teaspoon lemongrass (serine powder)
1 teaspoon trassi paste
30 grams Greensweet Stevia Brown
2 small maggi cubes (the old-fashioned ones in the red/yellow packaging, crumbled)
sea salt and black pepper from the mill (to taste)

This is how you make it:


Sprinkle the ham steaks with salt and pepper.
Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and stir together.
Place the ham steaks in it and mix well.
Cover and on low for 8.5 hours.
After 8 hours, remove the meat from the pan (leave the moisture in it) and pull the meat apart with two forks. If all goes well, you don't have to make any effort, the meat will fall apart in no time.
Return the meat to the slow cooker with the liquid still in it and stir well.
Leave it on low for another half hour with the lid on the pan.
Enjoy your meal! Made in a 3.5 liter Russell & Hobbs slow cooker.

I ate the oriental pulled pork with Spicy Beans with Coconut (2 points), 100 grams of fresh fries from the Airfryer (4 points) and 2 tablespoons of fries sauce 5% from Remia (1 point). If you want to eat this meal like this, it's 13 points per person for the indicated amounts.

PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU MAKE IT IN THE OVEN OR ON THE FIRE, YOU MUST ADD MUCH MORE MOISTURE. IN A SLOW COOKER THE MOISTURE DOES NOT evaporate BUT ON THE FIRE AND IN THE OVEN IT DOES.

Spicy green beans with coconut

What you need: (for 2 people, 2 points per person)

400 grams of green beans
2 red onions (chopped)
2 tomatoes (diced)
1 red pepper (diced small)
3 cloves garlic (minced small)
1.5 teaspoon sambal badjak
1 teaspoon lemongrass
1 dessert spoon Greensweet Stevia Brown
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
5 grams coconut grater
1 small maggi cube (crumbled, the old-fashioned one from the yellow-red package)
1/2 cup water


This is how you make it:

Prepare everything washed, cut and adjusted (I find that handy to do, so you cook easily and clearly)
Fry the onion and pepper in the sesame oil until translucent.
Add the tomato and garlic and stir fry for a few minutes.
Add the green beans and add all the ingredients except the grated coconut and lemon juice!
Put the lid on the pan and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
Then add the lemon juice and grated coconut and stir together.
Enjoy your meal !
