Chocolate coconut cake
What do you need: for a chocolate cake of about 18 cm.
50 grams of coconut flour
25 grams of cocoa
75 grams of butter
50 ml coconut milk
50 grams of dates
Pinch of salt
Half teaspoon of cinnamon
Half teaspoon of baking soda (with a few drops of lemon juice for the operation)
This is how you make this delicious cake:
Heat the oven to 170 degrees, hot air.
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Melt the butter in the meantime.
Puree the dates in the coconut milk with a hand blender.
Add all wet ingredients to the dry. Finally, put the baking soda and the lemon juice through the mixture. Mix everything equally well and put the mixture in a greased baking tin.
I use a small cake tin of about 18 cm, but you can also use a small brownie shape or cake mold. If you want a larger cake, double the recipe.
Put the cake in the oven for about 40 minutes. If you have a higher cake, extend the baking time. Prick with a skewer in the cake to see if it is cooked.
