Ayam Ketjap from the slow cooker
What do you need: (8 people)
2 kg chicken thigh fillet (cut into chunks)
3 small onions (chopped)
1 large red pepper (cut small)
5 cloves garlic (crushed and finely chopped)
8 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 tablespoon sambal manis
1 tablespoon ginger puree
1.5 tsp cumin seeds (I had the NOT ground version)
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
3 small maggi cubes (crushed)
fresh black pepper and salt
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Made in a 3.5 liter Russel & Hobbs slow cooker
How to make this delicious dish:
Sprinkle the chicken cubes with plenty of salt, pepper and flour.
Mix all ingredients together.
Place everything in the slow cooker and set on low for 4 hours.
Enjoy your meal!
