Turban cake

 

What do you need:

250 grams of butter

200 grams of Greensweet Sweet

250 grams of flour

4 eggs

pinch of salt

little bit of grated lemon peel

juice of 1 lemon

2 teaspoons baking powder

This is how you make it:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Stir the butter gently and add the Sweet. Stir until it is light and creamy. Add the 4 eggs, pinch of salt, grated lemon zest and the juice of the lemon. Then add the flour and the 2 teaspoons baking powder.

Smear your cake mold with some butter. Put in the dough and bake your cake in the oven for about 45 minutes at 175 degrees until it has got a nice golden color. Prick with a sateprikker in the cake to see if the cake is good, otherwise it may still be back in the oven.

Serving tip:

Sprinkle some Greensweet Icing over the already baked cake to put the dots on the i.
