What do you need:

  • 300 grams wok vegetables (the Japanese wok vegetables are the best #Tip)
  • 25 grams of dry Peasmaker pieces
  • 1 tsp Greensweet brown
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke (can be omitted)
  • Lettuce and corn tortillas to serve with it
  • possibly peanuts to serve with it

Preparation

Let the Peasmaker soak a bit as stated on the packaging. Put the desired amount of pieces in a bowl (25 grams per person), pour boiling water over it and let it soak for 5 minutes. You drain the pieces and then they are ready for use. All you then have to do is bake it briefly with your dish. Now you may think, 25 grams. Sounds very little, but because of the soaking, the pieces become larger and heavier in weight.

Meanwhile, mix the Greensweet brown, lime juice, fish sauce, tamarind and liquid smoke in a bowl.

Heat a wok with some oil and stir-fry the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes. Then add the Peasmaker pieces and the sauce. Stir fry this for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, bake the tortillas in a dry pan. This makes them nice and crispy and you have homemade tortilla chips. You can also warm them up in the microwave and eat them as soft tortillas.

Serve everything on a plate and enjoy!
